1. Strict Geolocation Boundaries

We enforce a strict Zero Background Tracking standard to protect employee privacy:

• Clock In/Out Snapshots Only: If an employer enables location services, GigaSphere only captures a single GPS coordinate snapshot at the exact millisecond an employee clocks in or out to verify they are within the designated workspace.
• No Continuous Tracking: Our app never tracks, traces, or logs physical locations in the background, during breaks, or after hours.

2. Data Collection & Usage

To generate accurate biweekly timesheet submissions and pay stub summaries, we securely process:

• Account Metadata: Employee name, business email, and job title for login authentication.
• Operational Logs: Clock in/out timestamps, total hours worked, and break intervals.
• Contextual Data: Employee entered task descriptions, project names, and additional details.
• Secure Authentication: Single Sign On (SSO) tokens and identity data to ensure secure, authorized access.

3. Data Security & Storage

• Canadian Data Residency: All databases, operational logs, and timesheet records are hosted and processed exclusively within Canadian geographic boundaries.
• Enterprise Grade Encryption: Data is heavily encrypted at rest (AES 256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), with strict multi tenant isolation ensuring no company can ever access another's data.

4. Data Control & Retention

• The "Agent" Boundary: Because GigaSphere operates as a vendor, the employer is the primary data controller. We retain data to satisfy regional labor standards, but we cannot alter approved timesheets without employer administrator approval.
• Employee Transparency: Employees can review every line item of data captured about them, including historical task notes and exact clock in timestamps, directly from their personal dashboard.
• On Demand Deletion: When a subscription is terminated, all associated timesheets, accounts, and location snapshots are permanently purged.
